This traditional barn door design is prefinished in white and can be painted to compliment your decor. A hollow core center is lighter than a traditional solid core barn door allowing for easier transport and installation.

Is this door paintable or stainable?

Yes, this door is ready to stain. It may also be painted but will conceal the natural wood grains.

What is the minimum height required from the top of the door to ceiling?

A minimum of 6" is required from the top of the wheel to the ceiling.

What is the ideal size opening for a Renin Barn Door?

Doors are approx. 4” wider and 4” higher than the door opening. Barn door track length is generally twice the door width.

How do I care for my Renin door?

Do not clean with solvents or commercial cleaners as they may damage the finish and / or distort the finish of the wood. When cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth or sponge.

Can I put 2 doors on one track for by-parting applications?

Yes. Renin offers a by-parting hardware track which allows two sets of doors to travel independently on two tracks.

Am I able to cut the track?

Yes, you can cut the track. You will need a proper cutting tool and blade to get through the track as it is hardened steel. We recommend that you also file the ends to make sure there are no sharp edges
